All our barbers are specifically chosen and trained so that no matter who you book in to see, you'll still get the same quality haircut. Our owners Alan and Nicki are as picky with staff as they are about hair so rest assured that whatever your style and whatever your hair type, you'll leave feeling like the Freshest Prince of Bel-(H)air. 

THE BARBERS

Alan

​Born on the south coast of England Alan started his career in hairdressing when he was 15. He opened his first Barbershop when he was 21 and ran it successfully for 10yrs until he sold it and moved here to Brisbane, opening Male Escape with his wife Nicki. Alan has completed numerous American Crew and Wahl Barbering courses.

Nicki

​Born in England, Nicki moved to Australia to chase a better way of life and has done that here in Brisbane at Male Escape. She's married to Alan and has started a family here whilst also completing numerous American Crew and Wahl Barbering courses.

Ken

Ken was born and raised in Dublin, on qualifying  in hairdressing he moved to London to pursue his career where he lived for 20yrs as a salon owner. He then met his Australian wife and moved here to a city that he adores and a job that he loves.
